My Preferences

My Preferences allows you to view Friendly Names, display balances on the Find Accounts page, have a dual display of Sterling and Euros and set default search periods for both statements and Payment Advices.

To use a feature within this page

  1. Check the feature you want
  2. Click Save.

Friendly Names

If your system administrator has set Friendly Names, you can choose to use them in your User profile and they will be reflected through the majority of screens in Corporate Online.

Display account balances on find results

Setting this preference allows you to view the historic last close of business balance on the results screen of any account find request. If you have many accounts and/or limited Internet bandwidth, you may find the performance of your system improves if you turn this option off.

Display amounts in Sterling and Euro

The feature enables you to view both Sterling and Euro equivalents on any balance page. The rate used for conversion will be the Bank daily Euro rate (and may include a margin). It's only intended as an indicative equivalent.

Debit account selection by name when creating payments

When you create a payment instruction, the debit account is selected by choosing it from a drop-down list of all available accounts. You have the option of changing the drop-down list to show either sort code and account number or account name (either the Bank short name or the Friendly Name).

Default Statement period

You can set a default statement search criteria of 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks or monthly. When you access the statement functionality, the 'From' and 'To' dates for the statement will be automatically populated with values in accordance with your preferences. The selected dates will hold for the remainder of the session through all accounts available.

To change statement view settings

  1. Select the Personalise tab
  2. Open the dropdown box in the Default Statement Period
  3. Choose a range - 1 day, 3 days etc.
  4. Click Save
  5. Select the Home tab
  6. Choose the account you wish to view

Default Payment Advice Period

You can set a default Payment Advice search criteria of 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks or monthly. When you access the Payment Advice tab, the 'From' and 'To' dates for the statement will be automatically populated with values in accordance with your preferences. The selected dates will hold for the remainder of the session through all accounts available.
