If you have permission to create and authorise your own payments, you will be offered
Single Stage processing. This means the payment goes straight to the bank after
it has been signed for. If the payment doesn't meet the single stage criteria, it
will move to the process payments screens.
An onscreen message will let you know if the payment can be sent straight to the
bank
- Click Continue to use Single Stage Authorisation
- Sign payment as usual
- Click Process Payments then Bank Box to confirm
status of payment
- If Single stage is not appropriate for the payment, uncheck the payment
- Click Continue
The payment will move to the Process Payments screen where it is required to be
batched, authorised and then sent to the bank.
If you regularly pay the same beneficiaries, save time by adding them to your beneficiary
list.
All International Payments being made in Euros and destined for a country within
the EU/EEA need to quote the beneficiary account BIC and IBAN.
To create an International Payment
- Select the Payments tab
- Click Create Payments
- Click International Payment
- Select either Free Format or Select Beneficiaries
- If Free Format, complete all fields and click Save
- If Select Beneficiaries check the tick box next to the required
beneficiary/s and click Select
- Check the tick box next to the ID link and complete payment details
from this screen
- Select the account to be debited from the drop down box
- Enter the payment value and currency. The currency of Amount must be the same as the currency of Debit Account or the Currency to be Sent.
- Enter the Payment Date
- Add any account references in the Payment Details field
- Only add text to the Instructions to Paying Bank field if manual
intervention is required
- Select charging options
- Click Save
- Click Create

Corporate Online lets you process an international payment with an exchange rate
based on your choice of currency for the debit account and the currency to be sent.
- Select the Payments tab
- Click Create Payments
- Click International Payment Live Rate
- Select either Free Format or Select Beneficiaries
- If Free Format, complete all fields and click Save
- If Select Beneficiaries check the tick box next to the required
beneficiary/s and click Select
- Check the tick box next to the ID link and complete payment details
from this screen
- Select the account to be debited from the drop down box
- Enter the payment value and currency. The currency of Amount must be the same as the currency of Debit Account or the Currency to be Sent.
- Enter the Payment Date
- Enter an Expiry Interval period - the payment must be sent to the bank within the
time period chosen
- Click Get Rate, the rate displayed will be held as long as the
time period selected
- Add any account references in the Payment Details field
- Only add text to the instructions to Paying Bank field if manual
intervention is required
- Select charging options
- Click Save
- Click Create
A Foreign Draft is a cheque made out in a foreign currency to a specified beneficiary.
The Lloyds TSB branded draft will be posted to the business address we hold on file.
- Select the Payments tab
- Click Create Payments
- Click International Draft Payment
- Click Select Beneficiaries
- Click Select
- Select the account you wish to debit
- Enter the value and currency
- Enter the country the draft is bring sent to
- Amend the Reference if required
- Tick the Pay Bank Charges box if appropriate
- Click Create
Please note that International Cash Management is not available to new customers.
Request the transfer of funds from any preset International Cash Management (ICM)
account, using pre-set rules for the credit of one of your accounts. The Transfer
request uses SWIFT MT101 format.
There are two types of ICM funds request:
- ICM funds transfer - request the transfer of a specified amount
- ICM funds sweep - request the transfer of all funds in your account,
taking the balance down to zero, or a specified residual balance
The amount of information which has to be completed on an ICM Funds Transfer/Sweep
depends on the type of request and the specific details required by your bank and
yourself.
Optional fields you may have to complete for an ICM request are :
- CHQB - request that beneficiary is paid by cheque
- CMSW - request to sweep account
- CMTO - request to top account above a certain floor limit
- CMZB - request to zero balance account
- CORT - contains a payment made in settlement of a trade
- INTC - contains an intra-company payment
- NETS - should be settled via a net settlement system
- PHON - request to contact the beneficiary by telephone, number
should be provided
- REPA - payment has a related e-payments reference
- RTGS - should be settled via a real time gross settlement system
- URGP - urgent payment
- OTHR - used for bilaterally agreed codes/information
Payments can be imported from compatible software packages.
- Select the Payments tab
- Click Create Payments
- Click Import Payments
- Select Browse to find payment file
- Highlight file then click Open
- Click on Shared or Personal
- Click Save
If the import is successful, a message will be displayed advising the total number
of payments imported and that it's been saved within Manage Templates
- Select Manage Templates from the Payments tab
- Check the tick box next to the payment name
- Click Open
- Click Create and process the payment in usual manner
If unsuccessful, an error message will be displayed. Amend the file accordingly
